Yes, both the ceremony and reception may be held on-site. We offer a beautiful indoor ceremony space within the barn, as well as the option for an outdoor ceremony in our open back field.
The space does not include air conditioning or heating. As a historic structure, it is designed to be enjoyed seasonally, and many couples plan their layouts and timing to take advantage of natural airflow, open doors, and outdoor options.
Yes, we're happy to share a list of wonderful vendors we highly recommend. If you choose to bring your own vendors, they must be reviewed and submit liability certificates prior to your event.
We do not offer on-site catering or bar service. Our venue rental includes access to a large warming kitchen and a built-in bar, and couples are welcome to bring in their own catering and bar service. You may choose from our recommended vendor list or select your own licensed and insured professionals, pending venue approval. We also happily welcome food trucks and mobile bar services, offering plenty of flexibility to create a dining experience that fits your vision.
To ensure the safety and preservation of the barn, real candles, open flames, and dècor that attach to the walls or beams are not allowed.

Your event date is officially reserved upon receipt of a signed contract, a $1,000 deposit, and a $500 security deposit.
Yes, event insurance is required for all weddings to ensure the safety of our guests and the venue. Coverage details and minimum requirements will be provided during the booking process.
Our venue offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Couples are married on a historic property originally built by the co-founder of the Indian Motorcycle Manufacturing Company, featuring our beautifully restored 1914 barn. In addition, the property is proudly operated by the nonprofit Friends of the Farm at Hilltop, allowing your celebration to support the preservation and ongoing stewardship of this historic site.
